How does Express Entry work?

Express Entry is a system introduced by the Canadian Government to manage applications for permanent residence from skilled workers on a global scale. Express Entry is an online system that operates based on a points system, known as the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The CRS score is calculated based on factors such as your age, education, language ability, work experience, and more.

Applicants submit an online profile into the Express Entry pool. The Canadian government holds regular draws, typically every two weeks, and the highest-ranked candidates in the pool are invited to apply for permanent residence.
